Before shipping
First send the vehicle details and photographs. Recipient address, shipping arrangements, work scope, cost, duration and shipping in both directions are agreed before dispatch.
Suitability and minimum thickness
Checks include minimum thickness, runout, surface, cracks, corrosion and condition after removal. Cracks, structural damage or thickness below the minimum rule out resurfacing.
Resurface or replace
The technical inspection determines whether resurfacing is appropriate and possible. Availability of shipping does not mean that every brake disc can be resurfaced.
Agree the work location
Resurfacing is organised through AVM’s technical base in Ibbenbüren. The specific process is agreed with you before shipping.
